Clue: Welcome to South America.

Clue: Don't press me, I think you just got a message, seriously pick up your phone.

Clue: Stunt drivers appreciate these very much, cheeseburger, rodeo, chicken, another word for ramp

Clue: Wind Catcher, Dive right in, if it's forgotten it's free.

Clue: What do you put on ?

Just do something.

Weak Three, Wake Me Up

Just another Monday stroll through the city.

If I had a penny for every photo I took, I'd probably still be poor. Photography isn't a real job.

Coming up, concrete with shades of grey, and green.
Hey, look down there.

Looks like it's rubbish day.
Today is all about the photos.
I can't really focus right now.
I don't have any interesting stories. Nothing from this day anyway.
It was interesting walking streets I've haven't walked in ages though. This is Dixon street as imaged abover.
Good old Cuba street.
Getting those photos in of the (worst) BK I've been to. Only if the inside was that nice.
Two Hundred dollars to the person who can tell me exactly where this photo is. I have confidence because it's not like anyone reads this blog.
I've always tried to get an interesting picture of this building, This "street view" was part of an attempt at it.
Busy buses being big but beating blue blind birds backing bling.
I'm pretty sure this is the Golden Days alley-way/street from Te Papa. Some roadside workers, and swagman.
This one.
 That Old Arcade.
Rails ? I forget their name, rail bus things. It is now a Railway Bus Road Train.
I don't know why I include some photos, I feel like without it the "walk" doesn't feel complete.
This guy is walking for sure. Not too sure though.
Oh haha.
Them detail shots.
 Straight shipping that.
 Undone.
 Lurkers.
Shine bright like a Wellington Train Station
The time I got to the station.
Wrapping this up with 2-Trains.

I feel like a photography blog is JUST photos without word content, it just gets boring, even for me to write. Just an off-week. I'm trying to improve on my blotography skills. Sure photos can tell a thousand words, but without the words they are just pictures.

Have a great week, or not, it is really up to you.

Nine Nine, It's Time

The coming of Tonnesday
All about edges and stuff.
I was gonna write about how I feel like I'm on the edge only just keeping myself aboard but how do photos I take relate to my life. I mean it's just photos. Anyway, I took a short detour on my way home today. determined to get a blog done by the end of the day.
So here are some photos I took today.
As I took this photo I wished I had a wider angle lense, but I really there was no other I could have gotten the same effect with a long angle lense. The focus, the people, the boat, all this would have been become so small they would be less interesting to look at. The landscape sure is nice though, not what its about though.
I try and take notice of the little things, well not always successful. Being plain ignorant sometimes is a trait of mine. Wo, this is just a photography blog.
I like taking these little detail shots where only a small plane is in focus. Excellent with my focal length. I also don't think blur has to be too blurry. Like if it is distracting, that was kinda my point in taking the photo. The background isn't a distraction, it is an addition.

Looking down is one of those shots you can always feel not awkward about in public.
Plus I like to "try" to be creative. You'll find so many photos of the waterfront, yes, it is pretty pretty pretty lately.

Bonus,where is this ?

That water fountain. Another example of additive bokeh(blur). Of course that is a person in the background, but it doesn't take away from the shot.

I just thought "shed 6" was kinda interesting. Not looking that great really.

Sometimes you don't need a perfect angle to get a good photo. Horizons don't need to go across horizontally. Wellington waterfront is really a wonderful place. You'll find plenty of activity 'round here.

Again with the detail shots, the little details is what make me like the world. Natural, made made, mantural(man made, natural course decay), whatever really. The world is perfectly imperfect.

Whoever put this mirror here had the right idea. How many people take a photo of this right ?

Umm, guess where this is ?

I like the sunset coming up in the far background.

Old boats are cool. What is that car doing there anyway ? Nice contrast of old/new, big/small, car/boat. Yes, that is a boat, and that is a car.
I went to a waterfront to take photos today and I didn't think I'd be taking photos of boats thats for sure. Like water and boats just make sense and I did not think of it. I go into these types of run around shoots with an idea, but I never stick with it. The world happens and here I am taking a photo of a boat.

I took this on the way home, caught my eye. The sky was just so beautiful. It was the perfect golden hour. Not a cloud in sight.

Take care, take a look at the details you may never see.

wisdom, words, to guide you on the whirl-way of wlife.
Remember it is always time.

Have a week of greatness.
Week a greatness have off.
